About the project
At the Gandihnagar Exhibition Centre, located in the Ahmedabad district of the Indian state of Gujarat, Plastindia exhibition is held, the most important triennial event in Asia for plastic producers and distributors. Plastindia is one of the most accredited international platforms for increasing and promoting plastics industry. The fair-event does not neglect to promote and enhance the research and development activity, from which future innovations are born aiming at the same time both to improving and optimisation production systems, and limiting the impact on the environment in industrial processes. In an area of 125,000 square meters, Plastindia records an average of 160,000 visitors for each edition, and 1,600 exhibitors from 32 countries. Since 2012, Italian producers of plastic processing machinery are present at the Indian fair with Italian Pavilion, a project intended and promoted by Honegger, in collaboration with Ice and Assocomaplast. A group exhibition that brings together all companies under the Made in Italy brand, a space set up by Honegger, which ideates and realises the whole pavilion exhibition space.With this initiative, we intend to promote and support the Italian plastics industry in the Asian market, taking advantage of the high visibility given by the trade fair event, which is attended by a large representation of the most important international buyers and decision makers of leading industry companies.
