About the project

The history of the Cranchi shipyard dates back to 1870, when the first boats created moved among the beautiful villas on Lake Como. From the past centuries, many steps forward have been made until the most recent use of advanced construction technologies, which allow the construction of technically perfect yachts. Cranchi has two plants in Lombardy, close to Lake Como: according to the new principles of industry 4.0, specialized technicians work with robots in a rigorous process, planned and verified at every stage. Before proceeding with the construction of each individual yacht, at the Cranchi shipyard the customer's needs are carefully listened and analyzed, and it’s only after that the boats are designed, with exclusive and personalized details.
In order to spread Cranchi's know-how around the world, internationalization is the best choice: the boot trade fair in Düsseldorf is one of the world's leading events in this sense, the largest and most participated indoor event dedicated to luxury boats and yachts. boot is also open to occasional visitors during the first weekend, and it is not only about boats but also about maritime tourism, water sports, inflatable boats, nautical accessories and much more. Honegger, as the exclusive representative for Messe Düsseldorf in Italy, has been following the Italian participation in the fair for years, also designing and setting up the exhibition spaces for some companies and shipyards. On the occasion of boot 2020, a total area of 850 square meters was set up for Cranchi, two mezzanine areas specifically designed to accommodate a 78-foot boat.
