About the project
SIAL is the international agri-food fair that takes place annually in Villepinte, a town in the north of Paris. The event brings together producers and buyers of the agri-food industry, offering a complete overview of the whole supply chain. The exhibition event is universally known as a reference point for the entire industry, both as a business platform and as a privileged observatory for development and innovation. Also AfiDOP, DOP - Italian PDO Cheese Association, participates in SIAL in Paris, engaging Honegger with the ideation and realisation of the design concept for the group exhibition space. The Italian consortiums that bring together cheese-making companies have a long tradition, often a century, but they do not neglect technological innovation to simplify high quality standards maintenance. The Italian Group Exhibition, brought together under the AfiDOP brand, brings a wide variety of products to SIAL: spun paste cheeses, matured cheeses made with buffalo milk and goat's milk. AfiDOP deals with the protection of dairy products and the PDO brand protection supervising the verification operations on production processes.Honegger is responsible for the ideation and realisation of the exhibition space for the common area of Italian companies. The creative concept takes into account the need of consortium representatives to offer products tasting and entertain interested buyers.
