About the project
Every six months at Messe Düsseldorf, there is the GDS fair, the Global Destination for Shoes & Accessories, a fair-event for trendy fashion accessories, bags and shoes. The exhibited products are an exclusive preview of the collections and trends that the brands will present for the following stylistic season. Design Trendsetter is a project designed and organised as part of the GDS event for the promotion of emerging footwear designers, carefully selected by a jury of experts, including the CEO of the Honegger Group. Twenty emerging designers have been selected to exhibit their Spring/Summer and Autumn/Winter collections during the 2015 GDS edition.Moreover, Honegger bring to the table years of experience of how to ideate and realise exhibition stands, taking care of the facilities within the exhibition space, of the event artistic direction, of all activities supporting Design Trendsetter communication and promotion.An area of 1,000 square meters in the Studio area of Hall 9, dedicated to the exhibition of unique creations by 20 emerging young designers, chosen by the technical jury. The realisation concept follows the innovative style of the exhibited shoe models. A luminous environment, made up of facilities with essential lines, enhanced with a design furniture, where the models on display stand out like the spotlight of a stage.
