About the project
Self Group is the heir to a history that since the early days of manual moulding in the 1950s has preserved this valuable craftsmanship tradition, transforming it into advanced engineering: from foundry models in wood, it has now moved onto automated moulds in aluminium, developed using advanced productions technologies. Self Group can boast extensive experience in production, particularly in the automobile sector.
Honegger designed the stand for Self Group and followed all of the installation phases for the international K fair, the most important for the plastic materials and the rubber industry.
K, organised by Messe Düsseldorf, takes place every three years in Düsseldorf, shining the spotlight on the entire production chain of reference: from design services, to laboratory testing equipment, from raw materials to the finished or semi-finished product, right down to machinery for the recovery and recycling of plastics and rubber. A series of conventions and correlated activities mean participants and visitors can keep up-to-date on the new technological frontiers and on innovations in materials.
