Rehacare is the rehabilitation and disability care fair held annually in Düsseldorf. With over 30 editions, the event is an ideal platform for professionals working in the field of rehabilitation, treatment and prevention. The high quality of Rehacare is demonstrated by many forums, meetings and conferences that take place during the fair. Honegger ideated and realised the design concept for the exhibition space of Genny Mobility SA, the first company in the world to apply self-balancing technology to a wheelchair. A new transport philosophy for people with motor disabilities. The company, born from the human experience of its founder, Paolo Badano, reinterprets the self-balancing two-wheel electric vehicle Segway pt, designed by Dean Kamen and realised by Segway Inc.Genny Mobility abandons the old notion of a wheelchair with four wheels for a much more agile, safe vehicle ensuring a full freedom of movement. Genny Mobility SA works in collaboration with world-renowned designers in the field of robotics, and thanks to the extraordinary tenacity and entrepreneurial skills of its founder.
