About the project
Comi was founded in 1973 with the aim of designing and building thermoforming machines, with particular regard to the refrigerator industry. For several years, the company operated as a machinery manufacturer, while since 1998 it has been on the market directly with its own brand. In 1994, Comi entered the machine sector with 3 and 5-axis laser cutting technology. After over 40 years of activity, today the company is a solid industrial reality, with 1,200 systems installed in more than 50 countries worldwide.Comi took part in the latest edition of K fair in Düsseldorf, the world's leading event for plastics and rubber industries. For the event, the company decided to engage Honegger with the ideation and realisation of its exhibition spaces.
