About the project
Canè company designed in 1978 a portable infusion pump for thalassemia treatment. This led to the creation of many micro-pumps for treating different diseases, which effectively respond to customer/patient needs, for whom were designed. Very high safety standards are followed thanks to the numerous checks carried out on each component and to the expertise acquired by the company over time. Canè includes in its activities participation in many conventions, both in Italy and abroad, also collaborating with different pharmaceutical companies. At Medica Fair in Düsseldorf, the world's leading appointment for technology and medical products, Honegger ideated and realised the Canè exhibition stand, as well as following the Italian company at every stage of its participation in the fair, as a representative exclusive in Italy of Messe Düsseldorf. The exhibitors at Medica include producer companies, developers, suppliers, a complete and exclusive showcase for buyers and specialised visitors, coming from different countries. Scientific activities integrated in the fair event are also of great importance: conventions and seminars in which industry professionals illustrate the market prospects and the new technological challenges to face for improving services offered to healthcare facilities.
