About the project
Bortolo Nardini is today the oldest Italian distillery. The company was established in 1779 in Bassano del Grappa, in Vicenza province. Nardini steam distilleries are located throughout the Veneto area, while the grape marcs come mainly from foothills of the upper Veneto and Friuli-Venezia Giulia regions. Among the leading products, there are the following: Acquavite di vinaccia, a pomace brandy obtained by vacuum steam distillation; Tagliatella, a liqueur with a cherry aftertaste; Acqua di Cedro, a citron-flavoured liqueur; Mezzoemezzo Nardini, a blend of "Rosso Nardini" and "Rabarbaro Nardini".The company partecipated in the Prowein Trade Fair organised at the Messe Düsseldorf district. At the time, Honegger designed and realised the exhibition space for Bortolo Nardini. Prowein is reserved only for wine industry professionals, coming from accommodation and restaurant services or, generally, buyers who deal with the cross-product trade. About six thousand exhibitors, coming from fifty different countries, international trade fair for wines and spirits without global competitors.
